RackStat Coach Guide

Coaching Staff Overview

This guide explains the main areas available to coaches and how to use them to monitor athlete progress, review submissions, manage program settings, and support accountability.

1. Coach Lobby

The Coach Lobby is the main starting point for coaching staff. From here, coaches can access session review, team settings, athlete data, and program tools.

2. Session Review

Session Review is where coaches monitor activity and approve athlete-submitted performance data.

Parent Requests

Review and approve parent or guardian access requests. Approved parents receive read-only access to linked athlete data.

Rack PR Reviews

Review max lift submissions from athletes. Approved lifts update the athlete profile and can affect The Board.

Workout Sessions

View completed workout sessions and identify athlete performance that may require review.

Athlete Alerts

Identify athletes who have not logged recent activity. This helps coaches follow up and maintain accountability.

3. The Board

The Board displays athlete rankings, weight class records, and lifting club progress. It reflects verified and approved athlete data.

Coaches may use Coach Mode to manage manual records where appropriate.

4. Team Settings

Team Settings allow coaches to configure how the program tracks and scores athlete performance.

  • Tracked Lifts: lifts that appear in athlete tracking areas.
  • Scoring Lifts: lifts used in Board Score calculations.
  • Club Start: minimum score needed to appear in lifting clubs.
  • Recruiting Feature: enables or disables recruiting-card visibility.

5. Parent Access

Parent access is read-only. Parents can view approved athlete information once a coach approves the request.

Parents cannot edit athlete data, approve lifts, or change team settings.

6. Recommended Coach Routine

  • Check Athlete Alerts regularly.
  • Review Rack PR submissions at least weekly.
  • Approve or reject submitted lifts promptly.
  • Keep tracked and scoring lifts consistent across the program.
  • Use parent access to increase transparency without allowing data edits.
